Oksana Stoliar

In 1977, graduated from the Faculty of Biology of the Ivan Franko State University of Lviv (LSU) with a degree in biology and a teaching position in biology and chemistry (Biochemistry). Worked as a laboratory assistant and engineer at the Research Problem Laboratory of Radiation and Physicochemical Biology at LSU (1977-1979). From 1979 to 1982, studied at the postgraduate course of LSU under the supervision of Prof. Borys SUKHOMLINOV. In 1982, defended her PhD thesis in the specialty 03.00.04 - Biochemistry. Since 1982, has been working at TNPU as an assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, and since 2005 - professor of the Department of Chemistry and Methods of Teaching. In 2004, defended her doctoral dissertation “The Role of Metalothioneins in the Detoxification of Copper, Zinc, Manganese and Lead Ions in the Body of Freshwater Fish and Molluscs” in the specialty 03.00.04 - “Biochemistry”. Teaches the disciplines “Biological Chemistry”, “Bioorganic Chemistry”, “Molecular Biology” and a number of special courses for students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology.
