Oleksandr Bondarenko

Associate professor of the Department of Pathological Anatomy, Forensic Medicine and Pathological Physiology at Dnipro State Medical University. PhD thesis: “Diagnosis and Prognosis of Follicular Thyroid Tumors: Immunomorphological Aspects” (Kharkiv National Medical University, 2011). From 2009 to 2012, he worked as a visiting scientist at the Higher Veterinary School (TiHo) in Hanover (Germany) in the SFB 599 group (Sonderforschungsbereich 599), where he participated in the development of bioreresorbable bone implants based on magnesium alloys. From 2012 to 2015, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Laval University (Quebec City, Canada) in the Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine (CHUQ), where he participated in projects on augmentation of the regenerative capabilities of the myocardium, peripheral nerves, and vascular implants.
Research interests: regenerative medicine, implantology, pathological and molecular diagnosis of malignant tumors of various localizations.
