Oleksandr Petrenko

In his work, Oleksandr combines computational biology, the use of animal and cellular models to find new therapeutic targets in liver diseases.

Oleksandr is a leading author of published studies on liver fibrosis regression and the use of machine learning models for the prediction of portal hypertension. He was awarded the Early Career Investigator Award from the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD).
