PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY:

After defending PhD thesis (2009) worked as a Senior laboratory assistant (2009-2011), Head of the laboratory (2012-2013), Research Assistant (2014-2015), Lecturer (2016-2017) and Associate professor (2018-present) of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of PNU. Participated in various internal and international trainings, internships and grant programs (see CV_OleksandraAbrat). At PNU, lectures a number of academic courses, in particular: biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and molecular endocrinology.

CURRENT AREAS OF INTEREST:metabolic syndrome and obesity; antioxidant, adaptogenic, antiglycemic, stress-protective, and geroprotective effects of natura lproducts und drugs; membrane transport; oxidative stress and antioxidants.
