Denis Kolybo
Doctor of the Biological Sciences (2011), professor (2017). He graduated from the Biological Faculty of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University (1995), defended his PhD thesis (1999) at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Oli Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and doctoral degree (habilitation) (2011) at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He completed an internship under the SABIT program at the Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles (USA) (2004), and collaborated with other scientists and scientifec centres. Novadays, the laboratory of immunobiology is engaged in the development of test systems for assessing the state of immunity and immunodiagnostics of some infectious diseases, in particular diphtheria, whooping cough, tuberculosis, etc., as well as elucidating the molecular features of the pathogenesis of these diseases and the role of immunity in the formation of resistance. Teaches courses of “Immunology”, “Molecular immunology”, “Immunobiotechnology”, “Immunity and Infection” at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University (since 2001) and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy National University; is the author of the textbook "Immunology" (2005, "High School" publishing house), (2011, “Taras Shevchenko University publishing house”).
He is the author of 46 articles (according to Scopus).
