Dmytro Gospodaryov
He received his higher education at the Faculty of Biology of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (1996–2001), after which did Ph.D. at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University under the supervision of Professor Volodymyr Lushchak, majoring in 03.00.04 – biochemistry (2001–2004). Since 2004, he has been a full-time employee of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. He received a scientific degree in 2005, and an academic title in 2014. Since 2021, he has been working on a doctoral dissertation on the topic "Ways of changing energy metabolism in order to increase lifespan of an animal organism " At the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, he teaches the disciplines "Cell Biology", "Genetics", "Models of Biochemical Research".
Areas of scientific interests:
1. Molecular mechanisms of aging.
2. Alternative enzymes of the respiratory chain – NADH dehydrogenase and ubiquinol oxidase.
3. Oxidative modifications of proteins.
4. Metabolism of reactive oxygen species.
