Scientific interests: influence on bioenergetic processes in mitochondria of stress factors of internal and external environment (catecholamines, immobilization stress, nitrates/nitrites, ionizing radiation, hypoxia, etc.); ionic and bioenergetic mechanisms in the heart and methods of their normalization in case of diabetes and myocardial ischemia; bioenergetics of cancer cells; use of nuclear magnetic resonance in the study of cellular mechanisms of hyperthermia and chemotherapy on cancer cells; energy processes in cancer and normal cells for the action of potentially chemotherapeutic substances.
